When Yuann and Chris first reached out to me about photographing their intimate elopement in Yosemite, my heart skipped a beat! From emailing back in fourth, talking on the phone, to sharing the excitement for the most epic day ever, I truly felt so comfortable around them and their family leading up to the day. This was a remarkable experience to say the least. In one of the most beautiful scenic treasures this country has to offer, our hearts were so full of love and abundant gratitude for being there. We hiked around the day before their wedding and saw the most iconic waterfalls and breathtaking views. There were moments where I couldn’t believe what my eyes were capable of viewing. The day of the wedding, I had a 1am wake up call from staying at the AutoCamp in Midpines (highly recommend) to capture Yuann and Chris getting ready before we set out to Glacier Point for their first look. I couldn’t believe the light we were getting, especially from rain and snow the week before. This park holds a deep sensation of feeling grounded and completely present in the moment. What a place to get married! It felt so damn good to disconnect from cell service for a few days and not only capture the love between these two, but to spend time with their friends and family that mean the world to them. I left feeling 100% recharged and enlightened to continue documenting weddings off the grid.
Yuann & Chris, congratulations on TYING THE KNOT while overlooking the beautiful Glacier Point! I wish you two a lifetime full of happiness and crazy-fun adventures together. Cheers to forever!
